QR code job tracking is a simple way to follow work through a factory or workshop. You print a unique code on each job card, and every time the job moves, someone scans that code on a phone. The scan records where the job is, who has it, and what step it is on.
Instead of a whiteboard that is always out of date, or a spreadsheet someone has to remember to update, the record builds itself as people work. The office can pull up any job and see its exact state, and the history of every scan stays with the job for costing and quotes later.

Do I need a special scanner or handheld device?
No. Workers scan with the camera on their own phone through the browser. There is nothing to install and no handheld scanners or wall-mounted terminals to buy. If a phone can open a website, it can scan a job.
Can I use barcodes instead of QR codes?
Yes. ScanPath reads both QR codes and standard barcodes, so if your job cards or labels already carry a barcode you can keep using it. QR codes hold more and scan from more angles, which is why most shops print those, but the choice is yours.
How do I print the codes?
