1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using ScanPath ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

ScanPath provides a job tracking and workflow management system for manufacturing and production environments. The Service includes QR code scanning, job tracking, analytics, and team management features.

3. Account Registration

To use ScanPath, you must create an account and provide accurate information. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Subscription and Billing

ScanPath offers subscription plans with the following terms:

  • New accounts start with a 7-day free trial; the first charge of R2,000 happens when the trial ends
  • Billing begins automatically after the trial period ends
  • Subscriptions are billed monthly in South African Rand (ZAR)
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Share your account credentials with unauthorized users
  • Use the Service to store or transmit malicious code

6. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you input into ScanPath. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your job data, tracking information, or organizational content. You may export your data at any time.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability. We will provide notice when possible for planned maintenance.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScanPath shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
